This is the second book in the Pern series. It has been several years since Lessa went back in time to bring forward the wyers of dragons to fight thread. Now there are troubles with those dragonmen. They are having a hard time adjusting to modern times and practices. And on top of that, even more seems to be changing, and Thread is not keeping to the pattern that had been worked out. Now F'lar and Lessa need to determine what must be done now.

this is the sixth book in the Women of the Underworld Series. Jaime Vegas is a spiritualist, at least to the general public, to the preternatural world, and in reality, she is a Necromancer, she is able to communicate with and raise the dead. Now she has moved into a house in Brentwood, planning on making a television special about what she does, publicly, when suddenly there is more to the situation than there appears to be!

this is book 457 in the Montgomery series (honestly, I am not sure what number it is, and I am too lazy to hunt them all out and count. Jude has a large series on the extensive Montgomery - Taggart family, through several centuries) Jace Montgomery has been mourning the death of his fiance for the last three years. and has recently found a clue as to why she might have committed suicide, so he heads to England to find out. Along the way he meets ghosts, and encounters all the particularities of a small English town.

Inkheart ~ Cornelia Funke

this is the first book in the Inkspell trilogy. I only got half way through this book... it just didn't grab my attention, and that is rare for a book. I didn't feel it was a BAD book... just not a grabbing one.

Raven's Strike ~ Patricia Briggs

Dragon Bones ~ Patricia Briggs

this is the first book in the Hurog duo. Ward is the young heir to Hurog, an estate known for caring for the dragons on the area, except the last dragon died hundreds of years ago. When is father suddenly dies, Ward is left as the new Hurogmeten, or lord of Hurog, though his Uncle is to oversee things till he reaches twenty-one.
Through a series of problems, Ward ends up on the run, trying to prove his intelligence, and competence in running things for himself. Trying to keep himself out of the mental house, and win Hurog back. The question is if he will survive his quest.

All Together Dead ~ Charliane Harris

This is the seventh book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. Sookie is scheduled to go to a Vampire Summit with the Queen of Louisiana and her entourage, and her latest boyfriend, Quinn, a weretiger, will be there as the event planner. Sookie makes the trip, only to discover that everyone is in danger, and she is not sure how to start saving people from the upcoming events.

Safe Harbor ~ Christine Feehan

this is the fifth book in the Drake Sisters Trilogy. Hannah and Jonas have known each other all their lives, and loved each other all their lives, only neither has believed that the other felt more for them than just friendship. Hannah has always had a special link to Jonas, and when he is in danger or injured, she does all she can to help him. And now that she is in danger, Jonas is going to do all he can to protect her, even if that means he must tell her how he feels. Now if only they can both survive the perils headed their way.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ~ J. K. Rowling

Double Take ~ Catherine Coulter

This is the eleventh book in the FBI series. Julia has been trying to deal with her husband's death for the last 6 months, and only complicating matters was the media and the police who were both convinced that she had murdered him. Until one day when she was out for a walk, and someone tried to murder her. Luckily for her, FBI agent Chaney Stone witnessed the attempt and managed to save her life, at the same time becoming involved in the investigation to determine who the attempted murderer is.
Meanwhile Sheriff Dixon Noble has been missing his wife for the last three years, positive she is dead, when suddenly, her godfather is certain he has seen her, and convinces Dix to go check it out.

A Fistful of Charms ~ Kim Harrison

this is the fourth book in the Rachel Morgan series. Rachel is challenged for her position as Alpha of a werewolf pack, and somehow manages to win. Rachel is still trying to figure out how to get Jenks back into the garden after she insulted him last winter, when his wife, Matalina comes to beg Rachel to help Jenks find their son, Jax, who has disappeared with Rachel's ex-boyfriend. Rachel ends up traveling north to find Jax and Nick, and keep herself out of even more trouble.

Every Which Way but Dead ~ Kim Harrison

this is the third book in the Rachel Morgan series. The time has come for Rachel to fulfill her agreement with the demon who testified against the dead vampire Piscary. Rachel must now become his familiar, but can she manage to keep her soul while doing so? At the same time, something is going on with Nick, he seems to be pulling away from Rachel. Also, Rachel is hired by Trent's head of security to keep him safe in an upcoming meeting. Can Rachel manage to do all she has agreed to do, and keep her soul as well as managing to stay on this side of the ever-after?

Lean Mean Thirteen ~ Janet Evanovich

This is the thirteenth book in the Stephanie Plum series. Stephanie's ex-husband, Dickie, has disappeared, and the only suspect is Stephanie. So Stephanie must now investigate why Dickie has disappeared, in addition to working her own FTA's. Totally typical for Stephanie, things keep happening to her, she manages to get hit by a squirrel bomb, destroy a car, and be in danger of kidnapping. Stephanie is still in her on again, off again relationship with Joe, and Ranger is still right there to catch her when it is off again. Really enjoyed this book!! Can't wait for another installment!!

The Good, The Bad, The Undead ~ Kim Harrison

This is the second book in the Rachel Morgan series. Rachel has been contacted by the FIB to help them solve a series of murders, where all the victims were witches. Rachel has been enrolled in a class taught by the same teacher who had taught all the victims at one point or another. Because the FIB suspects the teacher is the murderer, Rachel has her own suspecions as to who the killer is, and is determined to prove it. The question is if she will survive the discoveries she is about to make.

Light my Fire ~ Katie MacAlister

This is the third book in the Aisling Gray series. Aisling has moved to London, to live with her new mentor, Nora, while she trains to be a Guardian. Shortly after arriving, she once again runs in to Drake, whom she has left once again. As she discovers how difficult it is going to be to remain separated from Drake, she also discovers problems inside the Dragon Sept, and has a number of other issues arise that she must solve in order to proceed with her life.

Fire Me Up ~ Katie MacAlister

This is the second book in the Aisling Gray series. Aisling goes to Budapest for an Otherworld convention, in hopes of finding another Guardian, one willing to take her on as an apprentice and teach her what she needs to know to be a Guardian. She arrives in Budapest only to find that Drake is there also, the Dragon that Aisling is supposed to be the mate to. Can she manage to keep her heart intact and still fulfill her goal of becoming a trained Guardian?

You Slay Me ~ Katie MacAlister
