in this book we see a lot of the characters from the Fixed series. Quinn is a werewolf, from Ireland, in New York for a meeting with the local Council of Others, while there he meets Cassidy, a foxwoman, and anthropologist, who is supposed to help him research the People of the Light, the group out to do as much harm to the Others as possible.

This is the fourth book in the Fixed series.

Corrinne has been assigned to investigate and report on a series of leprechaun sightings, much to her dismay.
