Strangers in Death ~ J. D. Robb

Another book in the Eve Dallas series (honestly, I have lost count, but it is the most recent, at this time.) Eve has caught another murder, this time a wealthy sporting goods tycoon, who just happens to have offices in the same building as Rourke. Eve figures out fairly quickly who is responsible for the murder, now she just has to prove it! All the old cast are back, including Charles, who we don't see all that often. I really enjoyed this one.

Lean Mean Thirteen ~ Janet Evanovich

This is the thirteenth book in the Stephanie Plum series. Stephanie pays a visit to her ex-husband, Dickie Orr, in order to plant a bug on him for Ranger, tempers flair and when Dickie disappears, Stephanie is a suspect. Morelli and Ranger take turns keeping Stephanie safe, while at the same time working on the things they have to get done. Is Stephanie going to go to jail for Dickie's murder? Or will she figure out who is responsible for his disappearance...

Twelve Sharp ~ Janet Evanovich

This is the twelfth book in the Stephanie Plum series. Ranger has informed Stephanie that he is going away on business, when suddenly a woman claiming to be Ranger's wife is harassing Stephanie, and then it is all over the news that Ranger's daughter, has been kidnapped, supposedly by Ranger. Stephanie can't get a hold of Ranger to check in with him, but something is telling her that he is not responsible for these events. Can Stephanie figure out what is going on, and help rescue the child?

Eleven on Top ~ Janet Evanovich

The is the twelfth book in the Stephanie Plum series. Stephanie has quit being a bounty hunter, she is on the lookout for something new. She goes through 3 jobs in under a week and it appears that, even though she is no longer a bounty hunter, someone is out to get her, leaving bombs on cars, notes in her apartment, and in general, hunting her. Lula is attempting to fill Stephanie's bounty hunting shoes, but seems to be having trouble. And Morelli ends up with a broken leg, and now Stephanie is trying to help take care of him too.

Ten Big Ones ~ Janet Evanovich

This is the tenth book in the Stephanie Plum series. Stephanie has witnessed a robbery, and is the only one who can identify the thief, who is responsible for a string of robberies, now it appears that the gang that the robber is a member of is out to get her. And rumor has it that they have brought in a hired killer to deal with her. Morelli has decided that her job is too dangerous, and he wants her to quit, and hide from the people out to get her. Stephanie has other ideas. At the same time, Stephanie's sister Valerie has decided it is time to get married, and keeps dragging Stephanie in to assist with wedding plans.

To The Nines ~ Janet Evanovich

The ninth series in the Stephanie Plum series. Stephanie is after a new kind of skip, from a new kind of bond, a Visa Bond, they have just days to produce the immigrant that was in the United States on the bond, and suddenly, he has disappeared. During the investigation, Stephanie uncovers evidence of other murders, and ends up being hunted herself. Ranger and Joe team up to protect her from the trouble she has found herself in this time.

Hard Eight ~ Janet Evanovich

This is the eighth book in the Stephanie Plum series. Stephanie only has one FTA she is after, and he is a bit crazy, but her parents neighbor has asked her to look in to the disappearance of her granddaughter and great-granddaughter. While looking for them, Stephanie encounters the man who used to control Benito Ramirez, a crazy boxer, who appears to be just as crazy as Ramirez was. Now she has more people after her, and she is determined to find the pair for the neighbor. Will she survive what she has gotten herself into this time?

Seven Up ~ Janet Evanovich

This is the seventh book in the Stephanie Plum series. Morelli has asked Stephanie to marry him, Stephanie is unsure if she is ready to get married, at the same time she is given a semi-retired gangster who has gone FTA to recover. And one of Stephanie's friends, Dougie Kruper, also known as The Dealer, has disappeared. Stephanie sets out to recover the old gangster, who is blind, but still prone to shooting at his problems, and locate the dealer, while it appears her personal life is running away without her. At the same time, Ranger is making his interest in Stephanie clear, further complicating her life.

Hot Six ~ Janet Evanovich

This is the sixth book in the Stephanie Plum series. Ranger has gone FTA, and Stephanie refuses to be the one to make the capture, unfortunately, that means it gets handed to Joyce Barnhardt. Plus two men searching for Ranger, are following Stephanie in hopes she will lead them to him. Since Ranger is not able to do FTA's they end up as Stephanie's responsibility, including one who is determined to get off of a murder charge by being crazy, and he spends every attempt Stephanie makes to capture him trying to prove how crazy he is. Grandma Mazer is back, and after a fight with Stephanie's father, she moves in with Stephanie. At the same time, people keep breaking into Stephanie's apartment in the middle of the night, leading Stephanie to get no sleep in all of this.

Four to Score ~ Janet Evanovich

This is the fourth book in the Stephanie Plum series. Stephanie is on a case to bring in a woman who appears to have disappeared, except the ex-boyfriend of her FTA keeps receiving clues, and wants to hire Stephanie to decode them and find her. Along the way someone starts firebombing Stephanie, and destroys her car, and apartment. At the same time Stephanie's boss, Vinnie, has given her FTA to her arch enemy, Joyce Barnhardt, who seems to be following Stephanie to find the mark. There are more encounters with Morelli, and of course, Ranger is back as well.

Creation in Death ~ J. D. Robb

The thirtieth story in the Eve Dallas series. Eve is called out on a murder that appears to be the resurfacing of a murderer who got away from them 9 years earlier. As they proceed to investigate it dawns on them that the profile of victim on this case is a perfect match for Eve, and it appears that Eve may be on the list that this killer has planned.

Eternity in Death ~ J. D. Robb

This is the twenty ninth story in the Eve Dallas series. Eve is assigned to a murder which resembles a vampire killing, in the style of 'old' vampire films, and Eve is not so sure that is the case.

The Circus of the Damned ~ Laurell Hamilton

This is the seventh book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. Sookie is scheduled to go to a Vampire Summit with the Queen of Louisiana and her entourage, and her latest boyfriend, Quinn, a weretiger, will be there as the event planner. Sookie makes the trip, only to discover that everyone is in danger, and she is not sure how to start saving people from the upcoming events.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ~ J. K. Rowling

This is the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series. For a Few Demons More ~Kim Harrison

this is the fifth book in the Rachel Morgan series. There has been a series of death among Werewolves and Rachel has been called in to investigate by the FIB, as their Interlander expert. In the attempt to solve these crimes, Rachel encounters 2 more demons, and is forced to deal with them.
At the same time, Rachel has been convinced to work security for Trent Kalamack's wedding, as much as she doesn't want to. All while trying to wait out Ivy's fear of finding a blood balance with Rachel.

Double Take ~ Catherine Coulter

This is the eleventh book in the FBI series. Julia has been trying to deal with her husband's death for the last 6 months, and only complicating matters was the media and the police who were both convinced that she had murdered him. Until one day when she was out for a walk, and someone tried to murder her. Luckily for her, FBI agent Chaney Stone witnessed the attempt and managed to save her life, at the same time becoming involved in the investigation to determine who the attempted murderer is.
Meanwhile Sheriff Dixon Noble has been missing his wife for the last three years, positive she is dead, when suddenly, her godfather is certain he has seen her, and convinces Dix to go check it out.

A Fistful of Charms ~ Kim Harrison

this is the fourth book in the Rachel Morgan series. Rachel is challenged for her position as Alpha of a werewolf pack, and somehow manages to win. Rachel is still trying to figure out how to get Jenks back into the garden after she insulted him last winter, when his wife, Matalina comes to beg Rachel to help Jenks find their son, Jax, who has disappeared with Rachel's ex-boyfriend. Rachel ends up traveling north to find Jax and Nick, and keep herself out of even more trouble.
