Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ~ J. K Rowling

This is the fourth book in the Harry Potter series. In this book, they have decided to revive the Tri-Wizard's competition. There are supposed to be Three competitors, one from each of the three schools involved, Hogwarts, Beaubatons, and Durmstrang. However, when the time comes for the names to be chosen, a fourth name was chosen by the magical object set to do the choosing, the fourth was Harry Potter, several years younger than the other competitors, Harry has no clue who put his name in for consideration. As his name has been drawn, he is required to compete, and goes on to try his best at the three tasks set for the competitors.

This was a good novel, it explained a lot of things from earlier novels but still left lots of questions to be answered in the future.

This is the first book in the Harry Potter series. Harry, a young boy who has been raised by his aunt and uncle, discovers on his eleventh birthday, that he is a wizard, and there is a whole other community than the one he has been living in. He is invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where both of his parents attended before they were killed when Harry was a baby. As we follow Harry's first year at Hogwarts we learn a great deal about the magicking world and Harry's history in it.

I really enjoy these books, I have read them several times already and was just in the mood to do so again.
