This is book eight in the Sookie Stackhouse series. Sookie is back in Bon Temps, and hasn't heard from her boyfriend, Quinn, since the episode in book seven, All Together Dead, when so many of the vampire summit were injured or killed.
She unwittingly becomes involved in a Were war, and a vampire hostile takeover. At the same time, Eric, the local head of the vampire government, who Sookie shares a blood bond with, suddenly remembers a great deal of events that involve himself and Sookie, but due to amnesia he had forgotten.
Sookie also discovers more about her family history, and where she gets her gifts from. As well as dealing with current family issues that force her to deal with some things she would rather not deal with.

This is the seventh book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. Sookie is scheduled to go to a Vampire Summit with the Queen of Louisiana and her entourage, and her latest boyfriend, Quinn, a weretiger, will be there as the event planner. Sookie makes the trip, only to discover that everyone is in danger, and she is not sure how to start saving people from the upcoming events.

Poppy Done to Death ~ Charlaine Harris

This is the eighth book in the Aurora Teagarden series. Aurora stops to question her sister in law a about missing an important meeting, only to find her body, and her step brother missing. On top this family tragedy, when Aurora stops by work to let them know she needs some time off, she finds that her 15 year old brother has run away from home and hitchhiked across the country to see her.

Last Scene Alive ~ Charliane Harris

This is the seventh book in the Aurora Teagarden series. Aurora has spent the last year grieving for her husband, who died after having a heart attack. At the same time, they have been preparing for the filming of a movie based on the book written by Robin Crusoe, about the murders that took place in the first book of this series. Suddenly several people have turned back up in Aurora's life, her step-son is in town, with a role in the movie. And Robin is back, Aurora hasn't seen him since shortly after the first book. As well as Arthur, a local cop who Aurora once dated, and who had cheated on her with another detective. When suddenly, the actress who plays Aurora's charicter turns up dead.

This is the sixth book in the Aurora Teagarden series. One day, out of the blue, a young woman turns up on Aurora's doorstep, with a baby, as it turns out, this is Aurora's niece, with a baby that no one knew she was having. Aurora and Martin have a previous engagement that evening, but set up the niece in the apartment over the garage. Only to return later that evening to find the niece gone, her husband murdered on the stairs to the apartment, and the baby sleeping contentedly under the bed. Now Aurora must care for the baby while trying to solve the disappearance of her niece, and the mystery of why no one had any clue there was a baby involved.

Dead Over Heals ~ Charlaine Harris

this is the fifth book in the Aurora Teagarden series. As Aurora and Angel are outside caring for the yard one day, the body of a local policeman falls out of the sky and lands in the yard. Suspicion falls on those present, and other events in town only make suspicions higher. Can Aurora figure out what is going on before she ends up dead?

This is the second book in the Aurora Teagarden series. Aurora inherits a large sum of money, along with a house from a friend. Upon cleaning out the house and trying to determine what she wants to do with it, she discovers a mystery that must be solved. Aurora must now solve the mystery, and deal with her new maybe - neighbors, as well as dealing with her mother's new marriage, and her best friend's impending marriage, all the while wondering if she is doomed to always be a bridesmaid and never a bride.

Real Murders ~ Charlaine Harris

This is the first in the Aurora Teagarden series. Aurora is a member of a group interested in studying and discussing murders, the Real Murders club. She shows up for their monthly meeting only to find that the member in charge of getting the meeting hall ready has done so, but is now missing. Aurora later discovers the body of the member, she has been killed in the manner of the murder case they were studying that evening. so now all the members of their club are suspects in this murder. How many will die before they solve the crime?

Three Bedrooms and a Corpse ~ Charlaine Harris

This is the third book in the Aurora Teagarden series. (picked up the wrong one on accident, by the time I realized it I was 50 pages into it.) Aurora is showing a house for her mother, until her mother can make it, and finds a body in the house. The body of another local Realtor. Aurora becomes involved in trying to figure out who is responsible for the death.

Shakespeare’s Counselor~/ Charlaine Harris

This is the fifth book in the Lily Bard series. Lily wakes one night in the middle of a nightmare, only to find she is not strangling the men who attacked her, but Jack, in bed next to her. Lily decides it is time for counseling, and starts to attend a rape survivor group that is held locally. On the evening of the third meeting, Lily and the others show up, and find a body in the counselor's office, so now Lily is trying to figure out for Shakespeare's latest crimes.

Shakespeare's Trollop ~ Charlaine Harris

This is the fourth book in the Lily Bard series. On her way back into town after one of her weekly cleaning jobs, Lily sees something that catches her eye, it strikes her as strange so she investigates. And Lily finds a body, the body of a local girl, who Lily also happens to clean for. So she calls it in and the investigation begins. Also Jack tells Lily that they need to talk about their relationship, and they determine that they need to spend more time together, and the will be moving in together. Jack will still have to be in Little Rock, at least part time, but he can spend a great deal more time in Shakespeare with Lily.

Shakespeare's Christmas ~ Charlaine Harris

This is the third book in the Lily Bard series. Lily has to go back to her home town for her sister's wedding, while there, she learns that one of three little girls, including her sisters step-daughter to-be, is not who she seems to be. Jack has come to town, not only to be with Lily, but to find the girl, and return her to her family. Now Lily feels like she has to help Jack discover the truth.

But Sookie is summoned to New Orleans by the Vampire Queen of Louisiana to settle Sookie's cousin's affairs, as her cousin had been a consort of the queen's when she was killed. While in New Orleans, more attacks occur, and Sookie must discover who is behind them.

Club Dead ~ Charlaine Harris

This is the third book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. In the very beginning of the book Bill tells Sookie he has to leave town for a while, that he is going to Seattle, and is unsure when he will return. A few days later, a vampire friend of Bill's comes to Sookie and tells her that Bill was not in Seattle, but has now gone missing, and they need Sookie's help to find him. Sookie ends up traveling to Jackson, Mississippi in search of what has happened to Bill.

Living Dead In Dallas ~ Charlaine Harris

This is the second book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. In this book, Sookie has to go to Dallas to help the leader of the vampires there solve a mystery, as part of her agreement with Eric, the local leader of the vampires. While in Dallas, Sookie runs up against a group that is against legalized vampires, and also meets some local shape shifters. Once Sookie returns home she still has a murder that is not yet solved and other strange occurrences that she must figure out.
