Teir is a soldier, headed home from war, when he comes across what appears to be a lynching, and ends up rescuing the sister of the lynchee, Seraph, only to find that she is the one that the people had been afraid of, they just didn't know it. As she was a Traveler (gypsy equivalent) and also a mage. Soon Teir and Seraph are married and twenty years later, they and their children come across some more trouble, threatening not only them, but all Travelers, and others. This is the conclusion to the Hurog Duology. This novel takes place four years after the previous book. The king has recalled that Ward was supposedly not smart enough to manage Hurog on his own, and has sent soldiers to bring him back to Court, to be tested and determine his capabilities for himself. We soon discover that this is a plot to lock Ward away and drive his family into committing treason so that he can have them all murdered. this is the first book in the Hurog duo. Ward is the young heir to Hurog, an estate known for caring for the dragons on the area, except the last dragon died hundreds of years ago. Harry has determined that he is not going to return to Hogwarts for his finial year, instead, he is going to embark on a journey to discover and destroy all of the horcruxes that Lord Voldemort has left. Ron and Hermione have decided he will not be going alone, and they will be joining him. While Harry, Ron and Hermione are searching for the horcruxes to destroy them, Lord Voldemort has taken over much of the wizarding world, he now runs the Ministry of Magic, and he has put Severus Snape in the position of Headmaster at Hogwarts. We all know that between Harry and Voldemort, neither can live while the other survives, so the real question is who else will die in the execution of this destiny.

this is the fifth book in the Rachel Morgan series. There has been a series of death among Werewolves and Rachel has been called in to investigate by the FIB, as their Interlander expert. Most look like suicides... but there are some that just look fishy, and Rachel soon determines that they are murders. This is the thirteenth book in the Stephanie Plum series. Stephanie's ex-husband, Dickie, has disappeared, and the only suspect is Stephanie. So Stephanie must now investigate why Dickie has disappeared, in addition to working her own FTA's. Totally typical for Stephanie, things keep happening to her, she manages to get hit by a squirrel bomb, destroy a car, and be in danger of kidnapping. Stephanie is still in her on again, off again relationship with Joe, and Ranger is still right there to catch her when it is off again. Really enjoyed this book!! Can't wait for another installment!!

Rachel has been enrolled in a class taught by the same teacher who had taught all the victims at one point or another.
