this is the fifth book in the Rachel Morgan series. There has been a series of death among Werewolves and Rachel has been called in to investigate by the FIB, as their Interlander expert. Most look like suicides... but there are some that just look fishy, and Rachel soon determines that they are murders. In the attempt to solve these crimes, Rachel encounters 2 more demons, and is forced to deal with them.
At the same time, Rachel has been convinced to work security for Trent Kalamack's wedding, as much as she doesn't want to. All while trying to wait out Ivy's fear of finding a blood balance with Rachel.
