This is the first in the Women of the Otherworld series (after the prequels). It starts out 10 years after Beginnings, Elena has been a werewolf for 10 years, and still cannot come to terms with the man who bit her. She still resents the loss of her humanity, and is struggling to regain some of it. But now something is happening with the pack, and Elena must return to them, can she manage to remain distant. And will they survive the battle coming their way?
